Spring Picture Day is on Friday, March 18th. Individual and Class pictures will be taken. Class pictures are pre-pay, so they must be ordered and paid for on that day. The cost is $9.50. Individual pictures are not pre-pay. Everyone sits for a photo and when the packages are sent home you can decide to pay for all, some, or none of the photos. Simply send back to the school anything you do not want to purchase.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION HAS BEGUN! Murphysboro CUSD #186 is now taking names for Kindergarten registration. Students eligible for Kindergarten for the 2016-2017 school year must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2016. You must contact the district office to receive information. Please call 684-3781 ext. 6108 or email jograeff@mhs.org with your name, address, phone number, child's name, and birthdate by Friday, March 11. If your child is currently attending Pre-K at McElvain, you will NOT need to call in. Registration materials along with further directions will be mailed to you in early April.
