Prizes from the fundraiser are going home today! If you have not brought in your money, please do so ASAP! Top Seller: Triston Ellis, in 5th grade, who sold over $1,500. He will receive a Kindle Fire, $100 check, and other prizes. Amaya Harris, in 2nd grade, won the $25 money day prize.

Santa's Workshop will run from Monday, December 1st through Friday, December 5th.  Students will shop during their specials time.  All items a $1.50. 

Holiday Concert for K-2 graders on Thursday, December 4 @ 6:30.  Doors will open @ 6:00.

Saturday, December 6th from 10:00-3:00 @ Carruthers School.  Photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus from 12:00-2:00 by Whimsey Photography.  Vendors/Crafters are still being accepted through Monday, December 1st.  If you are interested in a space, you can call Carruthers @ 687-3231 or email carruthersptovendorfair@gmail.com.

Two former Murphysboro students and now game developers are providing an exciting time for students at the Big Muddy Monster Game Jam. Robin Rath and Josh Stevens are now working for Pixel Press (http://projectpixelpress.com/) and they are happy to come back home for a weekend to share with our students some of the work that is happening with their company. The FREE event is on December 6th in the Middle School Cafeteria from 9:30 - 3:30.  It is open to students ages 6-14 and parents are welcome to stay as well. There will be hands-on activities, competitions, food, t-shirts, and prizes! You must register online http://goo.gl/rDuZpr. They will be using iPads during the event, so if you have one, bring it along, but it is not required. This video may explain things a bit http://vimeo.com/90145923.
